Simply Following Instructions

I dump
stuff
into
the machine.
We need
more stuff,
my boss yells,
dumped
into the machine.
He looks at me
and when I do not
respond quickly enough,
he throws me
into the machine.
I'm honored,
really, but I
barely
move
the needle.
The machine
needs
more.
